The Annual General Meeting of the Victorian Council for Civil Liberties Incorporated (Liberty Victoria) was held at 5.30 pm on Tuesday 24 November 2015 at the offices Colin Biggers & Paisley, Level 23, 181 William Street, Melbourne.

We were delighted to have Michael Brett-Young as our speaker. Michael was appointed to lead the review of Victoria’s Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities. He was the CEO of the Law Institute of Victoria from August 2006 to October 2014. Previously, Michael was the Managing Partner of Maurice Blackburn. . Michael spoke on "Can a National Charter be Achieved? If so, how and when".
