Peng Shuai supporters to hand out shirts at Australian Open final as TA double down

Liberty Victoria president barrister Michael Stanton called on TA to ensure that Australian Open attendees are free to express their views.

“There does not appear to be any proper basis for asking an attendee to remove a T-shirt that highlights a human rights issue. Further, we note the T-shirt in question merely asks a question and is in no way offensive,” Mr Stanton said.
