Family of death-in-custody victim Tanya Day honoured for law reform activism

The four Day children, Apryl, Belinda, Warren and Kimberly Watson were on Thursday honoured with a human rights award from Liberty Victoria for their efforts to change the public drunkenness law. If they had not stuck together, Apryl said, the effort “wouldn’t have got very far”.
