Big Brother: Every Victorian's driver's licence to be uploaded to database

Liberty Victoria's Gemma Cafarella said facial recognition technology was a "significant erosion" of privacy that locked everyone with a driver's licence into a national database.

She said the mere existence of a database could curtail people's freedom of expression and right to protest.
