Victoria Police says wrongful arrest of former immigration detainee over sexual assault was not racial profiling

Victoria Police revealed yesterday they had charged the 44-year-old former detainee with sexual assault, stalking and two counts of unlawful assault. Ms Kretzenbacher said it was "even more disappointing was that politicians, who profess to respect the rule of law, have cast aside this man's presumption of innocence in order to make political hay of a complex situation"
