Liberty Victoria Voltaire Human Rights Awards

Description

JOIN US FOR A LIVE WEBINAR TO CELEBRATE THE WINNERS OF LIBERTY VICTORIA’S ANNUAL VOLTAIRE HUMAN RIGHTS AWARDS.

The Voltaire Human Rights Awards celebrate free speech and support Liberty Victoria's continued work to defend and extend civil liberties and human rights throughout Australia.

Hear from the winners of the

  • Young Voltaire Human Rights Award - Mohamed Semra
  • Empty Chair Human Rights Award - Accepted by Craig Foster and Mostafar Azimitibar
  • Voltaire Human Rights Award - The Children of Tanya Day

And join in a live Q & A Session with a panel of the award recipients.

The annual Voltaire Human Rights Awards are the major source of funding for Liberty Victoria, an unfunded advocacy group for civil rights.

To date the Awards have been made at an ‘in real life’ dinner and auction, to raise funds for Liberty Victoria and to celebrate people of conviction and courage. But COVID-19 restrictions this year have made that impossible.

So, please consider registering for the event or, if you can't attend, making a donation to Liberty Victoria to help continue to defend and extend our human rights and freedoms.

Once you have registered, the webinar address will be sent to you via email.
